What Is A Financial Coach?

Every great story has a hero.

Think about it. What would Star Wars be without the struggle and growth of Luke on his journey to saving the galaxy? What would The Lord of the Rings be without Frodo’s seemingly impossible journey to destroy evil once and for all?

A financial coach…

…is NOT the hero of your story. You are!

But, every great hero also has a guide; someone who has walked the path before and understands how to navigate the task at hand.

Not to beat the analogy too hard (or come across too nerdy), but how far would Luke have made it without Obi-Wan? Frodo without Gandalf? Simba without Rafiki?? And the list goes on…

These guides are not the heroes of the stories, but they empowered the heroes to succeed.

THAT’S what I want to do for you!

How Can A Financial Coach Help You?

One of the leading causes of stress for Americans is money.

Maybe it comes from a lack of knowledge surrounding personal finance that makes you feel incompetent; that you don’t even know where to start. It’s just too complicated.

You might feel “normal,” like you’re doing well, but deep down you know you’re just coasting and have no real, long-term financial plan for your future.

It could be that you have so much debt that it’s easier not knowing the exact amount, and at this point you are unsure how to even find out.

Or, it could just be as simple as feeling like you need the right tools and resources to put some sort of financial structure in place without wasting time on trial and error.

These (and many more) are all problems that a financial coach can help you navigate.

What Does Coaching From A Financial Coach Look Like?

It’s simple:

  1. First, we’ll have a consultation and discuss your dreams and goals
  2. Then, we’ll look at some numbers to see where you are now
  3. Finally, we’ll develop and monitor a plan to get you where you want to be

What Does Success Look Like?

  1. A clear understanding of your current money situation
  2. An easy to follow plan to reach your goals
  3. All the tools and resources you need to execute the plan
  4. Security and protection against financial risk
  5. A plan for your retirement

What Do You Risk By Putting This Off?

  1. Growing debt without a realistic repayment plan
  2. No money in retirement
  3. Gaps in your financial defense that could be tragic in the event of death or injury

Why Me?

I’ve been there. When I started my journey to financial peace, we were more or less financially illiterate with over 120k in debt outside our primary mortgage.

Since then, we’ve eliminated all of our non-mortgage debt and been able to purchase a bigger home with a smaller mortgage payment.

I’ve been through Financial Peace University twice myself, led Financial Peace University multiple times, read every finance book I could get my hands on, completed Ramsey Solution’s Financial Coach Master Training, and am a Ramsey Preferred Coach.

So…

Are you ready to become the hero? I am ready to help you!
